PIZ Differential Pressure Transducer as a two-wire system


In addition to differential pressure, the PIZ differential-pressure transducer also records positive and

negative overpressure. The central unit is a pressure cell with a

diaphragm spring made of beryllium bronze which, in accordance with the

pressure difference, is displaced between two chambers. The displacement

is measured, without making contact, via an inductive displacement

recorder. The device does not contain any components that can rub

against each other or parts subject to mechanical wear. The device is

best suited for use in air-conditioning and ventilation units, for

monitoring filling levels and for filter control.

Special features:

  • for positive and negative differential pressures
  • highly accurate and stable for long periods
  • llittle zero point drift or hysteresis; largely independent of temperature
  • also available as a two-wire system!

Measuring ranges:

from +/- 50 Pa to +/- 100 kPa

Linearity:

+/- 1%, optional +/- 0.5 +/- 0.2 %

Output signals:

0- 10V, 0- 20mA, 4- 20mA

Supply voltages:

24 VAC, 24 VDC, 230 VAC

Medium:

Air, all non aggressive gases
