Wireless temperature measurement is a low-cost solution to the in-house control of cold storage rooms. The transmitters are placed into the cold rooms and freezes and a receiver is connected to the computer´s USB or serial port. The accuracy of the MTR260C transmitters is typically better than ±0.5°C. Using transmitters with external sensors even ±0.15 °C accuracy can be reached. If the workstation is connected to network, for example all the kitchens of large cities and hotel chains can be controlled centralized from one workstation.
