Monitoring greenhouse environments

Greenhouses are closed environments in which the conditions for plant growth are optimized. Optimal controls require information from both the indoor and outdoor environment. Typically, carbon dioxide (CO2), relative humidity and temperature are measured in the greenhouse. The external measurement parameters include wind speed and direction, rain and solar radiation.

Vaisala offers instruments for measuring CO2, relative humidity and temperature in the greenhouse. Vaisala's outdoor transmitter portfolio includes products for measuring wind, precipitation, various moisture parameters and temperature. Outdoor transmitters are supplied with a wide operating temperature range that is suitable for most climates, flexible installation options as well as sun and radiation protection screens to protect against the weather.
