The Cloud Access Point CA10 is part of the Vaisala Jade Smart Cloud system. It is a hardware device for wireless networks that connects CWL100 data loggers to the Jade Smart Cloud service. The CA10 enables management of data loggers via the cloud interface. A continuous internet connection is required for operation.
When purchasing CA10 access points and CWL100 data loggers, they are pre-configured and linked to a specific Vaisala Jade Smart Cloud account, so no manual device pairing is required.

The CA10 connects up to 32 wireless CWL100 data loggers to the Vaisala Jade Smart Cloud. Communication is based on LoRa™ wireless technology, providing a long range of typically over 100 meters indoors.
For maximum security, data is protected with end-to-end encryption, ensuring safe transmission. Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or a power adapter.
The access point requires a continuous internet connection and automatically synchronizes with NTP servers to ensure accurate time stamping. For enhanced system reliability, the device supports a failover function, allowing data loggers to automatically connect to another available access point, provided at least two devices are present in the network.
