The System 400HWE (Hot Wet Extractive) is based on advanced OPSIS UV/FTIR DOAS technology and delivers fast response times together with outstanding measurement performance for a wide range of gases. The high-resolution FTIR system operates without interference from water vapor or other gases, ensuring highly accurate and reliable measurements even under demanding industrial conditions.

In addition, the integrated UV measurement technology provides excellent performance for monitoring NO, NO₂, SO₂, and Hg.

An ejector pump transports the gas sample from the stack or process duct through a heated sample line into the measurement cell. A central analyzer cabinet can simultaneously operate multiple measurement cells via an optical multiplexer, enabling flexible multi-point monitoring.

A single System 400HWE can continuously measure all relevant gases required for Continuous Emission Monitoring (CEM) applications, including NO, NO₂, SO₂, NH₃, CO, CO₂, HCl, HF, N₂O, CH₄, H₂O, O₂, and Hg.

For advanced mercury analysis, optional total mercury monitoring is available using a separate measurement cell and converter that transforms all mercury species into elemental mercury for precise measurement.

The System 400HWE is specifically designed for clean gas applications. In addition, the system can also be used for H₂S monitoring. Using a dedicated converter, H₂S is transformed into measurable components that can easily be analyzed with OPSIS UV DOAS technology. No scrubber is required for this process.

Optional total mercury monitoring is available with a separate measurement cell and mercury converter.

The system is suitable for clean gas applications and H₂S monitoring without requiring a scrubber.

The system features integrated data storage, automatic backup via the weblogger, and automatic FTP data transfer.

Remote access and remote control are available via internet connection.

All relevant system and control parameters are continuously monitored.

Integrated alarm functions automatically notify users in the event of faults or limit exceedances.

Optional report generation software is available.
