The VORTEX measuring tube VA DI ... ZG2 is specifically designed for precise measurement of small gas flow rates. The measuring tube features an internal diameter of 24 mm and a robust connection housing, making it ideal for stationary industrial flow measurement applications.
The probe is manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, ensuring excellent durability and long service life. It has a sensor length of 150 mm and is equipped with a G 1" threaded process connection. The device is suitable for measuring operating volume flow, flow velocity, and total volume in clean gases as well as gases containing condensate or particles.
Signal processing is handled by the integrated UVA transmitter. For applications in hazardous areas according to ATEX Category 1/2G and 1/2D in Zone 0 and Zone 20, an additional LDX2 isolating power supply unit is required.
The VORTEX measuring tube provides several output options, including a 4–20 mA analog signal, pulse output, limit value functions, and an RS232 interface for parameter configuration using the UCOM software.

The VORTEX measuring tube VA DI ... ZG2 operates within a measuring range of 0.4 to 30 m/s or 0.67 to 50 m³/h.
Pressure resistance is rated up to 10 bar or 1 MPa overpressure. The allowable process temperature range is -40 °C to +100 °C.
The device is designed for use with gases and displays measured values including volume flow, flow velocity, and total volume.
The connection housing is rated to IP65 protection class. An optional explosion-proof version is available according to ATEX Category 3G and 3D for Zone 2 and Zone 22 applications.
Sensor outputs include a 4–20 mA analog output, limit value outputs, a pulse output, and an RS232 interface for configuration and parameterization.
