The Vaisala viewLinc monitoring system includes the viewLinc Enterprise Server software and monitoring devices that provide alarms, real-time development and customizable reporting. It integrates various Vaisala data loggers and transmitters for monitoring temperature, relative humidity, CO₂ and more, and is suitable for light and heavy industry and GxP-regulated applications. The system is scalable from a few measurement points to thousands of areas and supports eleven language versions, ideal for global locations. The viewLinc Enterprise Server enables easy networking of the data loggers through Ethernet, PoE, WLAN and VaiNet wireless technology.
viewLinc has several features for data integrity. These include immutable data, audit trails, system access controls, authorization levels that meet regulatory requirements for separation of rights, device checks that verify the origin of the data, and validation alarms to ensure data validity.
Users have the option to view real-time evolution and a graphical overview of the controlled areas to monitor all measurement points from a central user interface. In addition, you can use the dashboard to perform a detailed query of all monitored points and view the data trend for any desired period.
Data from several months can be saved in the memory of each data logger. Automatic data backup to the server and client PCs ensures seamless data recording in the event of network or power outages.
Remote and on-site alerts for out-of-tolerance conditions are sent via email, SMS, voice call, light and sound signals. Alarms can be confirmed on mobile phones via voice call, SMS and email.
Create custom reports as needed. Regularly generated reports can be automatically generated and sent via email according to a predefined schedule.
No software needs to be installed on client PCs.
Run installations worldwide from a single server and manage them regardless of location. Users can use viewLinc in a language of their choice and in their local time.
VaiNet operates independently of other wireless devices and networks, so no separate Ethernet connection is required. Each VaiNet AP10 access point supports up to 32 RFL series wireless data loggers, which are ideal for high-traffic and hard-to-reach areas and can be easily relocated. Once powered on, VaiNet data loggers automatically connect to viewLinc software, simplifying installation and implementation without the need for prior knowledge. RFL data loggers are available as temperature and humidity data loggers, temperature-only data loggers with up to two channels, and CO2 data loggers for incubators.
