The Vaisala MMP8 enables fast and reliable measurement of moisture in oil, making it ideal for transformer oils, lubrication oils, hydraulic systems, and other liquids.
Equipped with the proven Vaisala HUMICAP® sensor, the probe is designed for demanding moisture measurement applications and ensures high accuracy and long-term stability.
The MMP8 measures dissolved moisture in oil in terms of water activity (aw), relative saturation (%rS), and temperature (T). It can also calculate ppm concentration for specific oil types.
As part of the Indigo product family, the probe is compatible with Indigo 200 and Indigo 500 transmitters and supports the Vaisala Insight PC software for data visualization, easy configuration, and self-calibration.

The HUMICAP® sensor, proven in oil moisture applications for over 15 years, ensures excellent performance and durability.
The device supports Modbus RTU communication via RS-485, allowing flexible system integration.
Each unit includes a traceable calibration certificate with five humidity calibration points and one temperature point, ensuring verified measurement accuracy.
The probe is fully compatible with the Indigo transmitter series, offering scalable system integration.
It also provides excellent sensitivity in low-moisture (dry) conditions, making it ideal for critical monitoring applications.
