The Vaisala MMT143 is a compact transmitter designed for continuous monitoring of moisture and temperature in oil. It is particularly suitable for OEM applications and measurements in lubrication, hydraulic, and transformer oils.
Using proven Vaisala HUMICAP® technology, the MMT143 measures relative saturation (%RS), water activity (aw), and temperature. For transformer oils and other insulating liquids, it can also provide water content in ppm.

The MMT143 measures 0 to 100 %RS or 0 to 1 aw with an accuracy of ±2 %RS up to 90 %RS. Depending on the version, the temperature measurement range is −20 to +80 °C or −40 to +80 °C. Two versions support process pressures up to 50 bar or 200 bar. Communication options include RS-485 with Modbus RTU and a 4–20 mA analog output. The robust stainless-steel housing provides IP66 protection.
