The Differential Pressure Transmitter PS17 is a robust and versatile device designed for measuring ± and asymmetric differential pressures in standard applications. It is particularly suitable for filter monitoring and pressure control in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
The device features a durable ABS housing with IP67 protection, allowing installation on a DIN rail or wall using only two screws. It offers the flexibility of either a fixed measuring range or switchable ranges (up to four selectable ranges), making it adaptable to various requirements.
A key advantage is the configurable output signal (0/2–10 V or 0/4–20 mA) and the ability to adjust signal damping up to 10 seconds, ensuring stable output even under fluctuating pressure conditions. The optional LC display enables direct on-site reading.
The zero-point adjustment via an external voltage signal reduces maintenance effort, while the optional adjustable limit switch allows direct connection of devices such as fans or alarm systems, eliminating the need for additional circuitry. Configuration is easily done via DIP switches, including output signal, measuring range, and optional square root output scaling.

The transmitter supports measuring ranges from 50 Pa up to 10 kPa, including optional switchable and bidirectional (±) ranges. The measurement accuracy is ±1% FS, with additional precision depending on the selected range.
Output signals include 0–10 V, 2–10 V, 0–20 mA, and 4–20 mA, all of which are configurable via DIP switches for maximum flexibility.
The 3½-digit LC display (optional) provides clear readings, while the IP67 protection rating ensures resistance to dust and water, making the device suitable for demanding environments.
Standard pressure connections (4 and 6 mm hose fittings) allow easy installation. An optional relay contact (230 VAC, 6 A) enables switching functions for alarms or control systems.
The device supports multiple power supply options, including 24 VAC/DC (±10%), 15–32 VDC (two-wire version), and 24 VDC with galvanic isolation, ensuring compatibility with various systems.
