HMD110/112 and HMW110/112 – Humidity and Temperature Transmitters
The high-accuracy humidity and temperature transmitters HMD110/112 and HMW110/112 are designed for precise measurements in HVAC applications. In addition to relative humidity and temperature, calculated parameters such as dew point temperature, wet bulb temperature, and enthalpy are also available. This ensures highly reliable and precise control of HVAC systems.
The transmitters are part of the Vaisala HMDW110 series, which includes models for duct mounting, IP65-rated wall transmitters, immersion temperature transmitters, and outdoor transmitters with integrated radiation shields. Both display and non-display versions are available.
Equipped with the proven Vaisala HUMICAP® 180R sensor, the transmitters offer superior long-term stability and excellent robustness, ensuring unbeatable accuracy throughout the instrument’s lifetime while minimizing maintenance needs. For demanding environments, they can also be ordered with the catalytic HUMICAP® 180V sensor, which is especially stable in hydrogen peroxide sterilized conditions.

The HMD110/112 and HMW110/112 transmitters achieve an accuracy of ±2 %RH and include a traceable 3-point humidity calibration as well as a 1-point temperature calibration, delivered with an ISO 9001 calibration certificate.
The standard output parameters are relative humidity and temperature, while optional calculated humidity parameters such as dew point temperature, wet bulb temperature, and enthalpy can also be selected. The output options include 4–20 mA and Modbus® RTU.
The devices are available in IP65-rated enclosures, making them suitable even for demanding environments such as cleanrooms or data centers. For applications in hydrogen peroxide sterilized conditions, the transmitters can be ordered with the catalytic HUMICAP® 180V sensor.
The instruments can be easily calibrated in the field using the Vaisala HM70 Handheld Humidity and Temperature Meter or the Insight PC software.
