The TS/TSR ZG1 Vane Probe is a T-shaped vane probe made of stainless steel, specifically designed for flow measurements where the flow direction is unknown.
Compared to cylindrical probes (ZS), it has significantly lower sensitivity to angular flow, ensuring reliable measurements regardless of flow direction.
The TSR version additionally enables ± flow direction detection, allowing the correct indication of flow direction.
The probe is suitable for stationary and portable measurements in gases, and can also be used temporarily in contaminated media.

The measurement range is 0.4 to 80 m/s in gases, making it suitable for various airflow applications.
It is designed for gas media only, particularly clean air environments.
The temperature range is −15 to +125 °C or optionally up to +260 °C, providing flexibility for different conditions.
The probe is not pressure-resistant, and is therefore intended for low-pressure applications.
With an IP50 protection rating, it is suitable for indoor or controlled environments.
An optional ATEX certification (Category 2G, Zone 1) is available for hazardous areas.
Available outputs include v/FA and v/FAR, enabling measurement of both flow velocity and direction.
