The Vaisala XMW85 is a cost-effective and configurable transmitter designed for measuring CO₂, humidity, and temperature in indoor environments. It is specifically developed for smart building and HVAC applications, enabling precise real-time climate control.
With Modbus RTU communication via RS-485, the device ensures seamless integration into existing systems, helping to improve air quality, reduce energy consumption, and maintain a healthy indoor environment.
The XMW85 is available in multiple variants with or without a display, offering flexible configuration for offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings.

The transmitter features a replaceable CO₂ module (Vaisala GM10) and INTERCAP® humidity sensors, ensuring reliable and long-lasting performance.
The humidity measurement accuracy is ±3.0% RH, supported by low self-heating of the Microglow light source, which also enhances CO₂ measurement accuracy.
The integrated CARBOCAP® technology provides excellent long-term stability and reliable operation, even in high-occupancy buildings.
An internal reference in the CO₂ sensor ensures consistent and stable measurements. The device is also optimized for easy installation and minimal maintenance.
