The Vaisala HUMICAP® HMW90 series consists of wall-mounted transmitters designed to measure relative humidity and temperature in indoor HVAC applications where high accuracy, stability, and reliability are essential. The transmitters support both analog outputs and Modbus RTU communication, enabling centralized monitoring and easy integration into building management systems.
Installation is quick and straightforward, with wiring connected through the back plate and electronics simply snapped into place afterward. Configuration is carried out via DIP switches inside the enclosure. Calibration and adjustment are simple as well: a one-point calibration can be performed through the cover without disturbing measurements, while a two-point calibration is possible via the service port using either a PC or the Vaisala HM70 handheld meter. Each transmitter is delivered with a traceable calibration certificate, and the measurement modules are user-exchangeable.

The Vaisala HMW90 series covers the full measurement range from 0 to 100 % relative humidity and achieves an accuracy of up to ±1.7 %RH. In addition to relative humidity and temperature, the transmitters can also output other humidity parameters such as dew point, wet-bulb temperature, enthalpy, mixing ratio, dew point depression, and absolute humidity.
The devices are designed for wall mounting and are particularly suitable for indoor HVAC applications where high accuracy, stability, and reliability are required. The transmitters support both analog outputs and digital Modbus RTU communication, enabling easy integration into centralized building management systems.
Each transmitter is supplied with a traceable calibration certificate, and the measurement modules are user-exchangeable, which makes maintenance and replacement straightforward. On-site calibration is also simple: a one-point adjustment can be carried out through the cover, while a two-point calibration can be performed using the service port with either a PC or the Vaisala HM70 handheld meter.
