The MINISONIC is a compact and durable ultrasonic flow meter designed for precise measurements in industrial environments. Its enclosure is made of molded polycarbonate with 30% glass fiber reinforcement, ensuring excellent durability and long-term reliability.
The device is suitable for measuring liquids and supports both flow measurement in pipelines and product change detection in pipelines (ISD). In addition, the system enables the detection of pigs, spheres, and scrapers (PSD) within pipeline systems.
The MINISONIC supports pipe diameters of up to 10,000 mm and uses advanced analog signal processing with Echo Shape Control (ESC) for highly accurate measurement results. The system delivers an accuracy of up to 0.5%, repeatability up to 0.1%, and linearity up to 0.1%.
The unit can be powered by 110–230 VAC or 12–24 VDC. Average power consumption is approximately 6 W, with a peak consumption of 10 W. For industrial integration, the device includes one isolated 4–20 mA active output and two isolated contact outputs.
Communication is provided via USB and Ethernet (Modbus TCP/IP) as standard. Optional communication interfaces include HART and RS485 (Modbus RTU). An integrated recorder allows reliable storage of process data.
The MINISONIC operates within a temperature range of -20 °C to +60 °C, while the storage temperature range is -35 °C to +60 °C. The device features IP67 protection and complies with EN/IEC 60659, EN/IEC 61326-1, and EN/IEC 61010-1 standards. Please note that the system is not ATEX certified.
