The thermal measuring tube TA Di is designed for use with a separate evaluation unit such as U10B, flowtherm NT, or flowtherm Ex, enabling precise measurement of gas and compressed air flows. It is available with inner diameters from 8 to 41.8 mm and features a robust stainless steel probe.
The device is suitable for stationary measurement of standard volumetric flow, mass flow, totalized volume, and flow velocity in clean, dry, and particle-free gases. Thanks to its compatibility with different evaluation units, it can be flexibly adapted to various industrial and process applications.

The device offers a measuring range of 0.6 to 12,350 l/min or 0.04 to 741 m³/h and is designed for pressures up to 16 bar / 1.6 MPa. The medium temperature ranges from -10 to +140 °C, covering a wide range of applications.
It is compatible with gases such as air, nitrogen, oxygen, methane, natural gas, argon, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide. The system meets IP65 protection rating (cable side), ensuring protection against dust and splashing water.
Depending on the evaluation unit used, ATEX approvals are available, such as Category 3G/3D (Zone 2/22) with U10Bor Category 2G (Zone 1) with flowtherm Ex.
For signal transmission, the device provides a 4–20 mA analog output (flow proportional), a relay for pulse output, and an RS232 PC interface.
