The Air Velocity Transducer 8455 is a versatile air velocity transmitter designed for temporary and permanent installations for accurate airflow measurement in a wide range of applications.
The device is ideally suited for research and development laboratories, industrial manufacturing processes, cleanrooms, hospitals, wind tunnels, environmental monitoring, and many general engineering applications.
Model 8455 features integrated electronics and calibration curves that provide a linear signal output. The output can be configured as either a current signal (mA) or voltage signal (V) and can easily be connected to various data loggers and data acquisition systems.
A major advantage is the ability for users to quickly adjust the current and voltage output ranges within just a few minutes.
The air velocity transmitter is ideal for comfort and draft studies, cleanroom monitoring, diffuser design analysis, drying process monitoring, airflow monitoring in tunnels and subway systems, use as a standard in wind tunnels and calibration facilities, greenhouse environmental monitoring, indoor air quality (IAQ) applications, and many other engineering applications.
