Opis izdelka

The Vortex Probe VA40 ZG10 is a specialized vortex sensor with an integrated, configurable UVA transmitter, designed for applications in highly corrosive and halogen-containing gases.

Unlike conventional metal sensors, this probe features a high-performance polymer sensor body, combined with a ceramic transducer (aluminum oxide) and fluoroelastomer seals, ensuring excellent resistance to aggressive media.

The design has proven highly reliable in real-world applications, such as process exhaust gases containing monochloroacetic acid, and is ideal for chlorine, hydrogen chloride, and hydrochloric acid vapor environments, especially in scrubbers and RTO systems.

With a low starting velocity of 0.5 m/s, the probe ensures accurate measurements even at low flow rates and serves as an effective alternative to tantalum-based sensors.

It is also suitable for hazardous areas (ATEX Category 3G and 3D, Zone 2 and 22) and meets functional safety requirements up to SIL2/SC3.

Tehnične specifikacije

The measurement range is 0.5 to 40 m/s (optional up to 60 m/s), enabling flexible use across various applications.

The probe is designed for pressures up to 3 bar (300 kPa overpressure), making it suitable for industrial processes.

The operating temperature range is −20 to +100 °C, ensuring stable performance under typical process conditions.

It measures flow velocity, flow rate, and volume, allowing comprehensive process monitoring.

The IP65-rated connection housing ensures reliable operation in harsh environments.

The device is ATEX certified (Category 3G and 3D, Zone 2 and 22), making it suitable for explosive atmospheres.

It provides an analog output with a maximum load of 400 Ohm, enabling easy integration into control systems.
