Termékleírás

The Hydrobar submersible level transmitter is a robust level measurement solution with cable or tube extension designed for accurate level measurement of water, wastewater, and sludge. Its durable construction makes it ideal for demanding applications in water treatment facilities, industrial plants, and marine environments.

The Hydrobar features a strong flush-mounted metallic diaphragm that ensures high reliability and excellent long-term stability. In addition, the transmitter includes active temperature compensation, providing accurate measurement results even under changing environmental conditions.

The device is available with either a fixed or adjustable measuring range, allowing flexible adaptation to various applications. Typical uses include level measurement in drinking water systems, surface water, wastewater treatment, sludge applications, industrial storage tanks, and marine ballast or water tanks.

Thanks to its high protection rating and multiple international certifications, the Hydrobar is also suitable for hazardous areas and safety-critical applications.

Műszaki leírás

The Hydrobar submersible level transmitter offers a measuring range from 0.1 to 15 bar and is available with both fixed and adjustable measuring ranges. The process temperature range for the sensor body and cable is -10 °C to +70 °C.

Measurement accuracy is specified at 0.2% of the adjusted span, with a maximum turndown ratio of 4:1.

The transmitter provides a 4–20 mA two-wire output signal. On adjustable versions, zero point and span can be internally configured.

Power supply requirements are 12–36 VDC. Explosion-proof versions operate at 13–26.5 VDC or 17–26.5 VDC for fixed-range models.

Protection ratings are IP68 for the submersible components and IP66 for the electronics housing on adjustable versions. The ambient temperature range for the electronics housing is -30 °C to +70 °C.

The diaphragm is manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel as standard, with optional versions available in Hastelloy C or gold-plated materials. The sensor body is made from AISI 316L stainless steel.

Standard cable material is polyethylene, with optional Hytrel or PTFE cable versions available. The electronics housing is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, with an optional AISI 316 version.

The Hydrobar includes numerous certifications and approvals, including ATEX Ex-ia, IECEx Ex-ia, EAC Ex-ia, marine approvals from Lloyd’s, DNV, CCS, BV, ABS, and KR, SIL2 functional safety certification, and compliance with the 3-A sanitary standard.

Optional accessories include cable hangers and junction boxes.
