The Kurz 454FTB series is a high-performance single-point insertion thermal mass flow meter specifically designed for industrial gas flow measurement applications.
The 454FTB is suitable for a wide range of industrial processes and provides precise and reliable gas flow measurement even under demanding operating conditions.
The system supports process temperatures from −40 °C to +260 °C, as well as high-temperature applications up to +500 °C. In addition, the flow meter can operate at process pressures up to 300 PSIG (20 BARg).
Thanks to its advanced sensor technology, the 454FTB offers fast response times and high measurement accuracy across a wide velocity range.
Its robust construction and multiple housing options ensure reliable operation in industrial environments.

The 454FTB supports a velocity range of 0 to 70,000 SFPM (325 NMPS).
Flow accuracy under laboratory conditions is rated at ±(1% of reading + 20 SFPM) with a repeatability of 0.25% of reading.
The velocity time constant is 1 second for velocity changes at 6,000 SFPM under constant temperature conditions.
The process temperature time constant is 8 seconds for temperature changes at 6,000 SFPM under constant velocity conditions.
Temperature accuracy is rated at ±(0.5% of reading + 1 °C) for velocities above 100 SFPM.
The electronics with integrated display operate within a temperature range of 25 °C to +65 °C.
The remote aluminum enclosure is designed for temperatures from −40 °C to +65 °C, while the remote polycarbonate enclosure operates between −25 °C and +50 °C.
The process pressure rating is up to 300 PSIG (20 BARg).
The process temperature range extends from −40 °C to +260 °C in the HT version and from −40 °C to +500 °C in the HHT version.
