Measuring structural moisture is essential to prevent mold growth and volatile organic compounds (VOC). The Vaisala SHM40 provides a simple and reliable solution for moisture measurements in concrete and other structuresusing the drill-hole method.
In this method, the humidity probe is placed inside a drilled hole and remains there until the humidity inside the hole reaches equilibrium conditions, allowing stable and accurate readings to be taken.

The Vaisala SHM40 kit includes an HM40 display with adapter for easy measurement reading and configuration.
It comes with an HMP40S humidity and temperature probe with cable for precise measurement of relative humidity and temperature inside structures.
A calibration certificate compliant with ISO9001 is included to ensure measurement reliability and traceability.
The kit also contains 12 plastic tubes (19266HM) and 12 rubber plugs (233976) required for the drill-hole measurement method.
Additionally, 3 protective sleeves with caps (19268HM) are included to protect the probes during measurement.
For safe transport and field use, the set is delivered in a weatherproof carrying case with a shoulder strap.
