The Thermal Flow Sensor TA10 ZG2d
is based on the heat transfer principle and designed as a probe with integrated transmitter. It measures standard velocity, standard volume flow, mass flow, and temperature. The device allows switching between different calibration curves of gases such as air, nitrogen, methane, argon, helium, hydrogen, oxygen and others – even during operation.
With its high measurement dynamics (up to 1:1000) and low uncertainty (2 %), it provides reliable results even at very low flow velocities. The TA10 ZG2d offers 2 analog outputs (4–20 mA), pulse/limit outputs, and communication via WiFi and M-Bus.
The stainless steel housing, IP68 protection, wide temperature (-10 … +140 °C) and pressure resistance up to 16 bar ensure long-term stability and durability. Optional features include an LCD display with keypad, a WiFi module, and M-Bus communication.
Typical applications include compressed air and gas consumption measurement, leak detection, laminar flow measurement in cleanrooms, exhaust air monitoring, burner supply air and HVAC applications.

The sensor measures flow rates from 0.2 m/s to 200 m/s with high accuracy.The measurement uncertainty is up to 40 m/s ±2% of the reading + 0.02 m/s, above that ±2.5% of the reading.It is suitable for media temperatures from -10 to +140 °C and ambient temperatures from -25 to +60 °C.The device is pressure resistant up to 16 bar, higher pressures are available upon request.The measuring transmitter is integrated in the connection housing AS80 (IP65), optionally with an LCD display.Communication takes place via analog outputs, WiFi or M-Bus.The housing material consists of stainless steel 1.4571/1.4404, glass, epoxy resin and silicone.An ATEX version for Zone 2 and 22 is optionally available.
