The ExactSonic P ultrasonic flow meter is designed for precise gas flow measurement in large pipe diameters (50 to 300 mm). The integrated transmitter with touch display allows direct reading of measurement values and easy parameterization, while remote control is possible via AK protocol (LAN/Ethernet).

Using ultrasonic transit time difference technology, the device measures flow by sending signals with and against the flow direction, enabling accurate determination of flow velocity, volume flow, and mass flow. The system combines pressure and temperature measurement to calculate standard volumetric or mass flow.

A key advantage is the high temporal resolution of 1 kHz, allowing detection of dynamic flow changes, such as valve operations. The device supports bidirectional measurement, requires no buffer volume, and ensures low pressure loss, even for large pipe cross-sections.

The system is suitable for clean, single-phase, non-corrosive, and non-flammable gases up to 0.4 MPa, making it ideal for industrial applications.

The device covers a measuring range of ±1 to ±6360 m³/h or ±1.2 to ±7630 kg/h with a high accuracy of <1% of measured value and repeatability of ±0.5%. It is ISO 17025 calibrated, ensuring reliable and traceable measurements.

It operates at pressures up to 4 bar (0.4 MPa) and supports medium temperatures from -20 to +60 °C. The system measures temperature, pressure, volumetric flow, standard volumetric flow, and mass flow, with an optional humidity (rh) measurement.

The housing meets IP65 protection rating, ensuring durability in industrial environments. For signal output and communication, it provides 4–20 mA and 0–10 V analog outputs, LAN/Ethernet (RJ45) with AK protocol, and a USB interface for data logging and configuration.
