The Vaisala DMP8 dew point and temperature probe is specifically designed for industrial applications with pressurized process lines, such as compressed air systems, industrial drying processes, and semiconductor manufacturing.
It provides accurate dew point measurements from –70 to +80 °C Td/f at operating pressures up to 40 bar. Thanks to its robust AISI 316L stainless steel housing and the integrated Vaisala DRYCAP® sensor, the probe offers excellent resistance to condensation, oils, dust, and chemicals, ensuring reliable long-term stability.
The DMP8 probe delivers high dew point measurement accuracy of up to ±2 °C Td/f and features an adjustable installation depth with a sliding seal fitting, allowing flexible installation in pressurized pipelines.
An optional sensor purge function allows removal of chemical deposits, helping to maintain long-term measurement stability in demanding environments.
The probe features a digital Modbus RTU interface via RS-485 and can be used either as a standalone device or together with Vaisala Indigo transmitters or the portable Indigo80 handheld device.
Using the Vaisala Insight PC software, users can easily perform calibration, configuration, and analysis. The DMP8 is supplied with a traceable calibration certificate and complies with EMC and RoHS standards.
