The Vaisala HUMICAP® HMP9 probe is specifically designed for dynamic environments with rapidly changing humidity and temperature. Thanks to its extremely compact probe head (only 5 mm diameter), it is ideal for installations in tight spaces.
The probe offers a very fast response time, high measurement accuracy, and excellent chemical resistance due to the integrated sensor purge function. It is perfectly suited for applications such as dryers, HVAC systems, data centers, and test chambers.
With RS-485 communication using Modbus RTU and full compatibility with the Indigo product family, the probe can be easily integrated into existing systems.

The probe measures relative humidity from 0 to 100 % RH with an accuracy of up to ±0.8 % RH, ensuring highly precise measurement results.
The temperature range is −40 to +120 °C with an accuracy of up to ±0.1 °C, making it suitable for demanding applications.
The miniature probe head with low thermal mass enables a very fast response time.
The integrated sensor purge improves chemical resistance and ensures long-term measurement stability.
The probe supports Modbus RTU over RS-485 and is plug & play compatible with Indigo200 and Indigo500 transmitters.
