The KATflow 180 ultrasonic gas flow meter is a cutting-edge solution for non-intrusive flow measurement of gasesacross a wide range of applications—from high-pressure systems to low-pressure conditions, including near-atmospheric environments where traditional clamp-on devices were previously unsuitable.
Unlike conventional flow meters, the KATflow 180 can be installed on metal gas pipelines even at pressures well below the typical 5 bar limit, enabling reliable measurements even under atmospheric conditions. This innovation is made possible by advanced sensor technology, high-performance electronics, adaptive filtering, and modern digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms.
The device supports gas flow velocity measurements from 0.1 to 75 m/s, making it suitable for a wide variety of industrial gases—from ammonia to xenon.

The flow meter supports pipe diameters from 25 mm to 1,500 mm and is compatible with all common pipe materials.
Standard sensors operate within a temperature range of –20°C to +135°C, while Ex-certified sensors cover –40°C to +80°C.

It operates across a pressure range from 1 bar absolute up to maximum system pressure.
