The PMT® Electric High Pressure Diffuser Eco (EHPD-ECO) is a powerful and compact device designed for the precise decompression of high-pressure gases. It is suitable for nitrogen (N₂), carbon dioxide (CO₂), argon (Ar), oxygen (O₂), and other inert gases, and is specifically developed for use in non-flammable and non-explosive environments.
The diffuser ensures reliable and accurate pressure reduction, making it ideal for applications that require controlled gas decompression. Its compact design and ease of use allow for flexible integration into various systems.

The device operates with a minimum flow rate of ≥ 2 L/min and supports a relative inlet pressure of 1 to 7 bar, with a maximum pressure of > 10 bar.
It offers flexible connection options:
- Inlet: 5 mm (inner) / 8 mm (outer)
- Outlet: selectable sizes of 6 / 8 / 12 / 14 / 16 / 20 mm
With compact dimensions of 100 × 70 × 90 mm and a weight of only 0.82 kg (1.8 lbs), the device is easy to handle and integrate. The housing is made of anodized aluminum, providing high durability and corrosion resistance.
The diffuser is powered by 100–240 V AC (50/60 Hz) and includes a rechargeable lithium battery (3 × 3.7 V, 3100 mAh) with a runtime of over 6 hours. The maximum power consumption is only 3.3 W.
Operating conditions include an ambient temperature range of 5°C to 30°C and relative humidity up to 80%, with an air pressure range of 86–106 kPa. Recommended storage conditions are 0°C to 40°C and up to 80% humidity.
The device comes with a 2-year warranty, highlighting its quality and reliability.
