The PMT® High Pressure Diffuser is a high-performance device designed for the real-time decompression of compressed gases to atmospheric pressure, supplying them directly to downstream sampling equipment. It is suitable for a wide range of gases, including air, nitrogen (N₂), carbon dioxide (CO₂), oxygen (O₂), argon (Ar), and other inert gases.

The diffuser ensures reliable and accurate pressure reduction, making it ideal for demanding industrial applicationswhere a stable and continuous gas supply is required.

With selectable flow rates of 100 L/min, 50 L/min, or 28.3 L/min, the device offers high flexibility for different use cases. The input pressure range of 1.5 to 8 bar covers a wide spectrum of operating conditions.

The diffuser operates at flow rates of 100 / 50 / 28.3 L/min with an input pressure range of 1.5–8 bar.

Connection options include:

  • Inlet hose: 8 mm outer diameter
  • Outlet hose: 10 mm or 14 mm inner diameter

The device has compact dimensions of 138 × 59 × 394 mm and weighs only 0.89 kg (1.97 lbs). It is equipped with a HEPA filter and features a robust 316L stainless steel housing, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. The O-ring is made of nitrile rubber, providing reliable sealing and long service life.

Operating conditions include an ambient temperature range of 5°C to 35°C (41–95°F) and relative humidity from 5% to 90%. Recommended storage conditions are 0°C to 40°C (32–104°F) and 5% to 95% humidity.

The device is supplied with a 24-month warranty, emphasizing its high reliability and long lifespan.
