Product Description

The TSI DustTrak Environmental Monitor is a powerful air monitoring system designed for the DustTrak photometer models 8540 and 8543. Built on the proven DustTrak technology, which is trusted daily by thousands of users worldwide, the system delivers real-time particulate monitoring for environmental and industrial applications.

The monitor provides an effective complement to Federal Reference Method (FRM) data collection, allowing remote deployment in less than one hour. It is included on the South Coast AQMD Rule 1466 pre-approved instrument listfor air quality management.

Whether used on construction sites, by environmental consultants, or during wildfire response operations, the DustTrak Environmental Monitor offers flexible compatibility with multiple sensors and accessories to capture critical environmental data. The system can measure particulate matter, gases, VOCs, wind speed, and other important air quality parameters.

For construction and industrial environments, the monitor helps reduce downtime by providing continuous 24/7 air quality monitoring. The unit is designed for easy field maintenance and features replaceable photometers and a long-life pump for reliable long-term operation.

Emergency responders can use the system to monitor pollution levels following wildfires and environmental disasterswhile receiving real-time alerts on mobile devices. The actionable data supports faster decision-making and efficient resource deployment.

Technical Specification

The DustTrak Environmental Monitor supports simultaneous measurement of size-segregated particulate mass fractions, including PM1, PM2.5, respirable PM, PM10, and total PM fractions. The system offers a minimal setup process and includes a new tripod mounting feature for easier installation in outdoor environments.

The monitor is compatible with the GM460 gas monitor for expanded environmental sensing capabilities. It also features user-friendly alarm settings, allowing notifications to be sent anytime and from any location.

An integrated gravimetric inline analysis function enables customized reference calibrations for improved measurement accuracy. The aerosol concentration measurement range spans from 0.001 to 150 mg/m³, making the system suitable for a wide range of environmental and industrial monitoring applications.

The environmental enclosure is both weather-resistant and tamper-resistant, ensuring reliable operation in demanding outdoor conditions. In addition, the system supports a cloud-based data management platform for efficient remote monitoring and data access from virtually any location.

Selected models are MCERTS certified for PM2.5, PM10, and Total PM monitoring, providing trusted compliance for regulated air quality applications. The monitor is also listed on the South Coast AQMD Rule 1466 pre-approved instrument list.
