Product Description

The Vaisala HMP5 humidity and temperature probe 

is designed for high-temperature applications such as drying ovens, dough dryers, and industrial kilns. With its precise measurements and excellent chemical resistance, it ensures reliability even in demanding processes. The probe features a 250 mm length, allowing easy installation through insulation materials. Its sensor cleaning function enhances long-term stability and keeps performance consistent, even in environments with chemical exposure.

Technical Specification

The HMP5 measures 0 … 100 %RH with an accuracy of ±0.8 %RH at +23 °C and operates in a temperature range of –70 … +180 °C with an accuracy of ±0.1 °C. The probe body withstands operating temperatures from –40 … +80 °C. Equipped with a Pt100 RTD sensor (Class F0.1, IEC 60751), it delivers high precision. An optional sensor heating/cleaning function removes chemical contaminants. Communication is provided via Modbus RTU over RS-485, and the HMP5 is compatible with Vaisala Indigo transmitters and Insight PC software. The IP66-rated housing ensures durability in harsh environments.
