The Vaisala HMS80 series is designed for precise humidity and temperature measurements in outdoor building automation applications. Thanks to an integrated radiation shield, measurement errors caused by direct sunlight are minimized, ensuring reliable and stable measurement results.
The transmitters use a replaceable INTERCAP® sensor, allowing quick on-site sensor replacement and significantly reducing maintenance requirements. With an accuracy of ±3 %RH and a robust IP65-rated enclosure, the devices are ideal for demanding outdoor environments.
By default, the devices measure relative humidity and temperature. Additional parameters such as dew point temperature, wet-bulb temperature, and enthalpy can be easily selected via DIP switches. The combination of high-quality materials and stable sensor technology ensures long service life and minimal maintenance.

The HMS80 series measures relative humidity from 0 to 100 %RH with an accuracy of ±3 %RH. Temperature is also measured and provided as a standard output parameter.
