The HydroCer submersible level transmitter is a reliable level measurement solution with cable or tube extension designed for accurate level monitoring of water, wastewater, and sludge. The transmitter is specifically developed for demanding environmental and industrial applications where long-term stability and robust sensor performance are essential.
The HydroCer features a durable capacitive ceramic measuring cell, providing excellent resistance against aggressive media and ensuring highly stable long-term measurement performance. Integrated temperature compensation further improves measurement accuracy under changing environmental conditions.
The transmitter is widely used in drinking water systems, surface water monitoring, wastewater treatment plants, sludge applications, industrial storage tanks, and marine systems such as ballast water, drinking water, and oil tanks on ships.
Its robust stainless steel housing and IP68 protection rating make the HydroCer suitable for continuous submersible operation in harsh environments.
Technical Specification
The HydroCer offers a fixed measuring range from 0.1 to 2 bar. The process temperature range is -10 °C to +70 °C.
Measurement accuracy is specified at 0.2% of the adjusted span, ensuring precise and reliable level measurement performance.
The transmitter provides a 4–20 mA two-wire output signal and operates with a power supply of 12–36 VDC.
Protection class is IP68, making the device suitable for permanent submerged operation.
The sensor uses a capacitive ceramic measuring cell as diaphragm material, while the sensor housing is manufactured from durable AISI 316L stainless steel.
Sensor sealing is provided by a Viton O-ring. Standard cable material is polyethylene, with optional Hytrel or PTFEcable versions available for demanding applications.
The HydroCer supports various mounting configurations, including cable hangers, mounting brackets, and threaded or flanged process connections.
Optional accessories include cable hangers and junction boxes.
