The CWL100 wireless data logger is part of the Vaisala Jade Smart Cloud monitoring system and is used for precise monitoring of humidity and temperature in a wide range of environments. Typical applications include warehouses, museums, public buildings, production areas, cleanrooms, and laboratories. In addition, the CWL100 is also suitable for measuring building moisture.
Through integration with the Jade Smart Cloud, the data logger enables easy remote monitoring with real-time data and trend analysis. Installation is highly user-friendly, as no complex configuration is required.
Technical Specification
The CWL100 uses LoRa™ wireless technology, enabling reliable communication over distances of more than 100 meters (typical indoors). The connection to the cloud is established via the CA10 Cloud Access Point.
The data logger supports various interchangeable probes for measuring humidity and temperature. These are equipped with Vaisala HUMICAP® humidity sensors and high-precision platinum temperature sensors, ensuring high measurement accuracy and long-term stability. The probes are removable and easy to replace, simplifying calibration. The cloud service automatically recognizes new probes and ensures a continuous and complete data history.
Wireless communication is encrypted to ensure high data security and integrity. The CWL100 offers a typical battery life of up to 18 months and operates on standard alkaline batteries. An optional magnetic mounting kit is available for flexible installation.
