The HMM170 is a robust open-frame humidity and temperature module, specifically designed for integration into environmental test chambers. It enables accurate and reliable measurements, even under extreme conditions such as vacuum or high pressure.
Thanks to its compact and durable design, the module can be easily integrated into chambers and electronic systems. It supports both digital and analog output signals, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of test chambers. In addition to relative humidity and temperature, the HMM170 also provides calculated parameters such as dew point and other humidity-related values.
Technical Specification
The HMM170 is engineered for demanding test environments, where conditions can be extreme, such as 95% relative humidity at 95 °C. The module covers the full humidity range up to condensation as well as the entire temperature range. It is also suitable for operation under vacuum conditions and at pressures up to 10 bar.
The integrated HUMICAP® R2 sensor technology enhances the proven Vaisala performance with improved corrosion resistance. In addition, automatic sensor cleaning functions and a probe heating feature ensure reliable operation in environments with typical chemicals and help prevent condensation.
The module features a digital interface (RS-485/Modbus RTU) as well as three configurable analog output channels, allowing flexible system integration. An integrated service interface enables easy configuration and calibration using Vaisala Insight software and a USB cable.
