PYROS-375 - Metal Block Temperature Calibrator

Product Description

The PYROS-375 is a compact and high-performance metal block temperature calibrator designed to function as both a temperature source and reference instrument for testing and calibrating a wide range of temperature measurement devices.

The device operates within a temperature range of +30 °C to +375 °C and is ideal for industrial applications, laboratory environments, and especially for use in the marine industry.

The PYROS-375 is certified with DNV type approval (Det Norske Veritas) and has proven highly reliable for onboard ship applications.

Thanks to its compact and lightweight design, the temperature calibrator is easy to transport and suitable for flexible field and laboratory use.

The system supports switchable power supply operation with 115 VAC or 230 VAC and includes integrated features such as a ramp function and thermostat testing capabilities.

In addition, the device features an RS232 interface for communication and calibration applications.

Various interchangeable block inserts with different bore sizes are available for different test probes and sensors.

The PYROS-375 can also be optionally upgraded with a blackbody source, allowing calibration of non-contact infrared thermometers.

Technical Specification

The PYROS-375 operates within a temperature range of +30 °C to +375 °C at an ambient temperature of 20 °C.

The temperature display provides an accuracy of ±0.25 °C at +150 °C with a resolution of 0.1 °C or °F.

Temperature stability is rated at ±0.15 °C.

Heating time from +30 °C to +375 °C is approximately 20 minutes, while cooling from +375 °C to +40 °C takes approximately 40 minutes.

Temperature uniformity at +50 °C is rated at ±0.1 °C radial uniformity at 40 mm immersion depth and ±0.1 °C axial uniformity.

The usable block depth is 150 mm with a block diameter of 26 mm.

The power supply operates with switchable 115 VAC or 230 VAC input voltage.

Power consumption is 600 W.

The device includes an RS232 interface for communication and calibration tasks.

The rugged housing is made of durable metal.

The PYROS-375 weighs approximately 5.4 kg and has compact dimensions of 130 × 260 × 280 mm.
