  • 3000 - Pressure and Level Transmitters with Ceramic Sensor

Product Description

The Series 3000 is a complete range of intelligent pressure and level transmitters equipped with a flush-mounted capacitive ceramic sensor for accurate and reliable pressure measurement.

The transmitters feature a local display and three pushbuttons, allowing easy calibration and programming without the need for test pressure. Zero and span can be adjusted quickly and efficiently, while signal damping and current simulation can also be configured directly on the device.

Thanks to full temperature compensation, the Series 3000 delivers stable and highly accurate measurement results even under changing environmental conditions.

The transmitters are available with a wide range of industrial process connections and optionally support the HART® communication protocol.

The robust stainless steel construction and durable ceramic sensing technology make the Series 3000 especially suitable for demanding applications in the pulp and paper industry and other industrial environments with harsh process conditions.

The local display is available with an optional transparent cover for easy process monitoring and indication.

Technical Specification

The Series 3000 transmitters achieve an accuracy of 0.2% of adjusted span, with an optional high-accuracy version providing 0.1% accuracy.

Measurement ranges extend from 0–100 mbar up to 0–50 bar.

The devices support a 10:1 turndown ratio.

Configuration and calibration are performed using three pushbuttons and the local display without requiring test pressure.

The output signal is provided through a 4–20 mA output, with optional HART® protocol support.

Power supply requirements range from 12 to 36 VDC.

Electrical connections are provided as PG9 standard, with optional M20 or ½" NPT female connections available.

The protection rating is IP66, with an optional IP68 version available.

The allowable process temperature range is −20 °C to +80 °C, optionally extendable to +100 °C.

The sensor is manufactured from 99.9% Al₂O₃ ceramic with standard Viton sealing, while alternative O-ring materials are available on request.

Wetted parts are made from AISI 316L stainless steel as standard, with Hastelloy C available as an option.

The electronics housing is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel, with an optional AISI 316 stainless steel housingavailable.

A wide range of industrial process connections is available, including versions specifically designed for the pulp and paper industry.
