Product Description
The Vaisala DRYCAP® DMP5 dew point and temperature probe is specifically designed for inline moisture measurement in industrial drying applications with high temperatures. The long and robust stainless steel probetogether with an optional mounting flange with adjustable installation depth allows easy installation, for example through oven insulation.
The DMP5 uses the proven Vaisala DRYCAP® sensor, known for its high accuracy, reliability, and long-term stability. The sensor is resistant to condensation, particle contamination, oil vapors, and most chemicals.
Thanks to the heated sensor, the risk of condensation forming on the sensor is minimized. If the DRYCAP® sensor becomes wet, it dries quickly and restores its fast response time. In low humidity applications, the sensor performs automatic self-calibration to ensure continued measurement accuracy.
The DMP5 probe is part of the Vaisala Indigo product family and is compatible with the Indigo500 and Indigo200 transmitters. It also supports the Vaisala Insight PC software for data visualization, easy probe configuration, and self-calibration.

The probe enables humidity measurements at temperatures up to 180 °C.
The dew point measurement range is −40 to +100 °C Td with an accuracy of up to ±2 °C.
The temperature measurement accuracy is up to ±0.1 °C.
An integrated sensor purge function ensures excellent chemical resistance and stable long-term performance.
The probe is resistant to condensation, oil, dust, and most chemicals, making it ideal for demanding industrial environments.
Communication is provided via Modbus RTU over RS-485 for flexible connectivity.
The DMP5 is fully compatible with the Vaisala Indigo transmitter series.
A traceable 3-point calibration certificate is included.
Thanks to a long calibration interval of up to two years, maintenance requirements are significantly reduced.
