FLUID-200 - Portable Temperature Calibrator

Product Description

The FLUID 200 portable temperature calibrator serves as a precise temperature source and reference instrument for testing and calibrating a wide range of temperature measuring devices. The system is especially suitable for the calibration of glass thermometers and laboratory thermometers, making it ideal for laboratory, industrial, and quality assurance applications.

Thanks to the integrated adjustable magnetic stirrer, the device ensures highly homogeneous temperature distribution and provides precise and repeatable calibration results. In addition, the FLUID 200 supports ramp functions, thermostat testing, and computer-controlled calibration procedures via the integrated RS232 interface.

Its compact and portable design makes the calibration bath suitable for both stationary laboratory use and mobile on-site applications. The unit can also be optionally converted into a metal block temperature calibrator, providing additional flexibility for various calibration tasks.

An optional upgrade to a “blackbody source” is available for the calibration of non-contact infrared thermometers, further expanding the application range of the FLUID 200.

Technical Specification

The FLUID 200 operates within a temperature range of +20 °C to +200 °C. The temperature display accuracy is ±0.15 °C, while the display resolution can be selected between 0.01 °C and 0.1 °C. Temperature values can be displayed in both °C and °F.

The stability of the controlled temperature is ±0.02 °C at 150 °C, enabling highly precise calibration procedures. The maximum heating rate is 10 °C per minute, while the maximum cooling rate is 5 °C per minute.

Temperature uniformity at 150 °C is specified as ±0.05 °C radial and ±0.05 °C axial, ensuring highly homogeneous temperature distribution within the calibration bath.

Different calibration media are used depending on the operating temperature range. Water is used below 80 °C, Silicone Oil 200C5 below 125 °C, and Silicone Oil 47V100 below 220 °C.

The calibration bath opening has a diameter of 54 mm and a depth of 150 mm.

Power is supplied through 230 VAC, with an optional 115 VAC version available. Power consumption is 500 VA.

The device includes an integrated RS232 interface for computer-controlled calibration procedures. The calibration bath is made of aluminum, while the housing is constructed from durable metal.

The calibration bath volume is approximately 400 cm³. The total weight is approximately 8 kg, and the device dimensions are 160 × 340 × 330 mm.
