K-BAR-2000B - Thermal Mass Flow Meter

Product Description

The K-BAR 2000B uses patented B-Series technology to measure gas velocity and temperature simultaneously at multiple points across the entire measurement span. Equipped with the fast Dual FD2 Metal Clad™ sensor, the system calculates mass flow, velocity, and temperature at each individual point.

The integrated Series 155 Mass Flow Computer processes this data and calculates the average velocity and average temperature throughout the process.

The K-BAR 2000B is especially suitable for ducts and processes with widely varying velocity and temperature ranges. Thanks to its advanced sensor technology, the system delivers reliable measurement performance even under demanding industrial conditions.

Its operating temperature range extends up to +500 °C, making it ideal for high-temperature applications.

Technical Specification

The K-BAR 2000B supports a velocity range of 0 to 12,000 SFPM (56 NMPS) with an accuracy of ±(1% of reading + 20 SFPM) and a repeatability of 0.25%.

The process temperature range extends from −40 °C to +260 °C in the HT version and up to +500 °C in the HHT version. The maximum process pressure is 150 PSIG (10 BARg).

The electronics operate within a temperature range of −40 °C to +65 °C.

The system features optically isolated 4–20 mA outputs, USB, RS-485 Modbus, and HART communication, as well as integrated alarm and relay functions.

In addition, the K-BAR 2000B includes built-in drift checking, flow totalizers, digital filtering functions, and a durable IP65-rated steel enclosure.
