Product Description
The OPSIS O2000 Oxygen Monitor is designed for monitoring oxygen concentration in industrial applications, including Continuous Emission Monitoring (CEM) and process control systems. Its robust IP65-rated design enables reliable operation under harsh conditions and in aggressive flue gas environments.
The measurement principle is based on the proven zirconium oxide (zirconia) sensor technology. A difference in oxygen concentration across the solid electrolyte generates an electrical current, which is measured and amplified to determine the oxygen concentration. This technology is widely recognized as a proven and highly reliable measurement method.
Because the OPSIS O2000 performs in-situ measurements, no gas extraction system is required. This eliminates common issues such as clogging or maintenance problems associated with extractive systems. The result is a simple, reliable, and low-maintenance oxygen monitoring solution.
The oxygen monitor consists of a probe inserted directly into the flue gas and a separate control unit. The probe is heated and supplied with ambient air, which provides a stable oxygen reference concentration. A second gas channel leading to the zirconia sensor can be used for fast and accurate calibration.
The control unit processes the sensor signal and transmits the oxygen concentration to connected receiving systems. It also continuously monitors probe performance and automatically performs regular self-checks.
A built-in user interface allows easy configuration and manually initiated calibrations. In addition, recurring automatic calibration sequences can be configured for fully automated operation.
The OPSIS O2000 Oxygen Monitor is often integrated into complete OPSIS emission monitoring systems together with UV and FTIR DOAS gas analyzers and additional system components. However, it can also operate as a standalone oxygen monitoring solution in applications where oxygen is the only parameter of interest.
The oxygen monitor has been tested and approved by internationally recognized organizations such as TÜV and MCERTS. It complies with European regulations and is certified according to EN15267.
