The Differential Pressure Transmitter P 29.2 is a high-precision device specifically designed for the measurement of natural gas and non-aggressive gases such as methane and butane. Thanks to its TÜV-approved concept, it is ideally suited for use in industrial furnaces and combustion systems.
A key feature is the automatic zero-point adjustment, ensuring long-term accuracy without zero drift. The scalable measuring ranges starting from 250 Pa allow flexible adaptation to various applications. In addition, an adjustable time constant ensures a stable output signal, even under fluctuating pressure conditions.
The transmitter enables measurement of volume flow, mass flow, and flow velocity, making it highly versatile. A major advantage is that the device does not create an ATEX zone, as it poses no ignition risk due to its design. The easy commissioning and flexible installation (DIN rail or wall mounting) simplify integration into existing systems.
With multiple analog and switching outputs and a USB-C interface for parameterization, the device can be conveniently configured. The transmitter is CE-certified, with additional certifications in progress.
Technical Specification
The transmitter offers measuring ranges from 250 Pa up to 10 kPa, which are freely scalable from 10–100% within each range. The measurement accuracy is up to ±0.2% FS, ensuring highly reliable results.
Available output signals include 0–10 V, 2–10 V, 0–20 mA, and 4–20 mA, allowing flexible integration into various systems. The USB-C interface enables easy configuration via software, while an optional multicolor display with keypad supports local operation.
With a protection rating of IP65, the device is resistant to dust and water, making it suitable for demanding environments. Various pressure connections, such as barbed fittings and compression fittings, provide additional flexibility.
The power supply is 24 VAC/DC (±10%), optionally with galvanic isolation. Additional options such as calibration certificates, M12 connectors, and alternative fittings further expand its application range and customization options.
