The PMT® 9510 Modbus Particle Counter
measures particle sizes from 0.5 to 25 μm at a flow rate of 1.0 CFM (28.3 LPM). Designed to comply with ISO 21501-4 and JIS B9921 standards, it ensures high accuracy and long-term stability with durable laser diode technology.
The unit features 6 user-selectable particle size channels (expandable to 30) and an integrated critical orifice with flow sensor for stable operation. Integration into building automation or facility monitoring systems is seamless via MODBUS™ TCP/IP over Ethernet or WiFi. With a stainless steel enclosure, lightweight design, and flexible mounting options, the 9510 is ideal for cleanrooms, industrial environments, and HVAC monitoring.
Technical Specification
The 9510 provides a measurement range of 0.5 to 25 μm with 6 calibrated channels (expandable to 30). Counting efficiency is 50% at 0.5 μm and 100% for particles > 0.75 μm, with a concentration limit of up to 1,500,000 particles/ft³ at 10% coincidence loss. The flow rate is 1.0 CFM (28.3 LPM), monitored internally.
The light source is a long-life laser diode, achieving a zero count of less than 1 particle per 15 ft³. All instruments are NIST-traceable calibrated, with annual calibration recommended.
Data storage supports up to 65,000 sample records with a sampling time range of 1 second to 99 hours. An optional temperature and humidity probe (0–100 % RH, ±2 %) is available.
Communication is via Ethernet, USB, or WiFi, supporting MODBUS™ TCP/IP. Power is supplied by 9–24 VDC or Power over Ethernet (PoE). The unit meets ISO 21501-4 and JIS B9921 standards.
The stainless steel housing measures 9.1 × 4.6 × 12.7 cm and weighs 494 g. The warranty is 5 years (1 year for the vacuum pump).
