Product Description

The Thermal Probe TA20 ZG8A is a powerful thermal flow sensor with an integrated U10 transmitter, designed for precise measurement of gas and air flows in pipelines.

With a shaft diameter of 20 mm, the probe is suitable for installation in pipelines with an inner diameter of 80 mm or larger, making it ideal for industrial applications.

Made of stainless steel and equipped with a robust aluminum connection housing, it offers high durability, easy cleaning, and sterilizability.

The probe enables direct mass flow measurement, as well as standard velocity, standard volumetric flow, and totalized values, ensuring comprehensive process monitoring.

Technical Specification

The measurement range is 0.08 to 40 m/s (optional up to 60 m/s), allowing accurate detection of both very low and medium flow velocities.

The probe is designed for pressures up to 10 bar (1 MPa relative), making it suitable for industrial applications.

The temperature range is −10 to +240 °C, enabling use under demanding conditions.

It supports various gases such as air, nitrogen, argon, CO₂, and helium, providing high flexibility.

The probe measures standard flow velocity, standard volumetric flow, mass flow, as well as total volume and mass, enabling comprehensive analysis.

The IP65-rated housing ensures reliable operation in industrial environments.

Available outputs include 4–20 mA (flow), relay output for pulse signals, and RS232 interface, allowing flexible integration and easy configuration.
