Product Description

The Vortex Flow Tube VA Di ZG1 is a high-precision vortex flow tube designed for stationary measurement of volumetric flow and flow velocity in gases.

It is available in various diameters (25–100 mm) and made from stainless steel, Hastelloy, titanium, or tantalum, making it suitable for corrosive and demanding media.

The device is designed for clean as well as condensate- and particle-laden gases, ensuring reliable process monitoring.

Signal processing is handled via an integrated or external UVA transmitter, allowing flexible system integration.

Technical Specification

The measurement range is 0.4 to 40 m/s or 0.7 to 1131 m³/h, covering a wide range of applications.

The flow tube is designed for pressures up to 10 bar (1 MPa overpressure), making it suitable for industrial high-pressure processes.

The temperature range is −40 to +180 °C, allowing operation under various conditions.

It measures volumetric flow, flow velocity, and volume, enabling comprehensive process analysis.

The IP65-rated housing ensures reliable operation in harsh environments.

Optional ATEX certifications are available:

  • With integrated UVA: Category 3G and 3D (Zone 2 and 22)
  • Without integrated UVA: Category 1/2G and 1/2D (Zone 0/1 and 20/21)

Configuration is performed via an RS232 interface and UCOM software, enabling easy setup and adjustment.

Available outputs include 4–20 mA, limit value, pulse output, and RS232, ensuring flexible integration into existing systems.
